38th & Blake A Line

Your Ticket to the City
With the 38th & Blake Light Rail Station located just around the corner from Forge, RiNo residents enjoy unparalleled access to the best of the Mile High City and beyond. To get there on foot, just head toward Wynkoop Street, and then take the pedestrian overpass to the station.
The A-Line: Your Direct Connection
The 38th & Blake station is a key stop on the University of Colorado A-Line, Denver's premier commuter rail.
Downtown in 4–6 Minutes: Just one stop west brings you straight to Union Station, the heart of LoDo and the gateway to Denver’s entire transit network.
Airport in ~33 Minutes: Head east and you’ll arrive directly at Denver International Airport (DEN). Trains run every 15 minutes during peak hours (5 a.m. to 8 p.m.), meaning no traffic, no parking fees, and no stress.
Interesting Fact: The A-Line station by Forge is technically a 'Commuter Rail' stop, but everyone still calls it 'The Light Rail.' The big difference? The A-Line offers level boarding, meaning the train floor is flush with the platform. You can roll your bike or luggage right on without climbing steps! (And for the pedestrian bridge, don't worry—there are elevators on both sides if you want to skip those stairs, too.)
Denver’s Rail System at a Glance
The RTD Rail System is divided into two distinct types of service, both accessible via 38th & Blake and Union Station:
Commuter Rail (The "Lines"): Like the A-Line at our station, these trains (A, B, G, and N) are larger, travel at speeds up to 79 mph, and feature level boarding (no stairs) for easy access with bikes or luggage.
Light Rail (The "Letters"): These trains (D, E, H, R, and the temporary T Line) serve the wider metro area, connecting you to the Tech Center, Golden, and Littleton.
By hopping on the A-Line to Union Station, you can easily get from RiNo, Denver to almost any other line in the city. Want to catch a Rockies game at Coors Field, a concert at Ball Arena, or head south for some shopping? It all starts just steps from Forge.
